Process and Maintenance Tips

If you’re considering a spray tan, here’s a brief guide on what to expect and how to maintain your tan for lasting results. Before Your Appointment

Exfoliate: Gently scrub your skin the day before to remove dead skin cells, focusing on dry areas like elbows and knees. Avoid Moisturisers Don’t apply lotion or deodorant before your appointment to ensure the tan adheres well.

Wear Loose, Dark Clothing: To avoid staining, opt for loose, dark clothes after your session. During the Spray Tan Consultation: Your technician will help you choose the right shade based on your skin tone and desired results.

Application: You’ll be sprayed with a tanning solution using an airbrush or HVLP system. Expect to stand in different poses to ensure even coverage.

Drying Time: After application, you’ll need to wait a few minutes for the tan to dry before getting dressed. After Your Spray Tan Development Time: The tan develops over 6-8 hours. Avoid water, sweat, and tight clothing during this time to prevent streaking.

Avoid Exfoliating Too Soon: Wait a few days before exfoliating to maintain an even color.

Top-Up: Use gradual tanning lotions for touch-ups between sessions.
